Singing, Gladness, and Joy

Is. 35:10
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

What a glorious time! The eyes of the blind will be opened, the deaf will hear, and the tongue of the mute will sing praises! Water will flow in abundance, no more desert times! In the midst of this place is a highway called the Highway of Holiness. Only those cleansed by the blood of the Lamb will walk on it because they are clothed in His righteousness: saved, justified, sanctified, and glorified. Safety is the watchword! The pilgrims need not fear predatory beasts or enemies of any kind, even the roaring lion who seeks to devour the souls of men. Walking in safety and peace, the redeemed will be rejoicing as they go! As His ransomed ones, they are crowned with everlasting joy! No more sorrow and sighing, no more bad decisions, no more loss of focus, no more temptations from the world, no more death, no more illness, no more financial distress, in fact, in Zion there will only be praise to the Lamb and the Father! Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing! Every creature in heaven and earth will say, To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever! Such worship is glorious! Even so, come Lord Jesus!
Father,
Prepare me for this walk on the Highway of Holiness, this eternal weight of glory. I long for heaven to be with Jesus singing praises for eternity.
In the name of the Lamb,
Amen
