Who is Jesus Christ?

Heb. 1:2
but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom he created the world.

Who is Jesus Christ? Sounds like a simple question, but apparently not! It has been the topic of conversation for years. Funny how when people want to answer this question, they look everywhere else but in the book where He is the principal personage. He is what it is all about! So who is Jesus? Hebrews 1 gives us a great answer.
  • voice of God
  • heir of all things
  • agent of creation
  • radiance of the glory of God
  • exact imprint of God's nature
  • upholds the universe by the word of His power
  • made purification for sins of the world thus providing salvation to those who believe
  • now seated at the right hand of the Father
  • more superior than the angels in personage and name
  • begotten son of God
  • angels worship Him
  • His throne is eternal
  • scepter of uprightness is the scepter of His kingdom
  • loves righteousness and hates wickedness
  • anointed with oil of gladness
  • laid the foundations of the world that will one day perish
  • He is he same yesterday, today, and forever
  • His enemies will bow before Him (be a footstool for His feet)
  • He provided the way for those who are to inherit salvation
I am sure that much more could be said about Jesus, but in 14 verses we find many answers. I praise the Father that the Son is my Savior, that He made purification for sins thus making a way for me to reconciled, saved, loved, sealed, called, chosen, redeemed, foreknew, predestined, justified, sanctified, adopted, heir, brother, and glorified. [I am sure there are even more.] He provided the way for me to have it all, everything that God has to offer to His children!

Father,
My heart is full with so many blessings! Thank You for Jesus. He means so much to me.
In His name,
Amen
