God Is Faithful

1 C or. 1:5-9
...that in every way you were enriched in Him in all speech and all knowledge--even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you--so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

What a glorious provision! We are chosen and predestined to be God's children, to be adopted as sons and daughters, and to be joint heirs with Christ. As if that were not enough, We are enriched in Him, not in ourselves, not because of our gifts or talents, but because of Jesus Christ. He has enriched us in speech and knowledge. He puts in our heads what needs to come out of our mouths! [Thank heaven, I did not have to come up with what would be glorifying to God!] In addition, because of Him, we are not lacking in any spiritual gift. Not only has Christ given us what should be in our heads, what should come out of our mouths, but He has also given us every gift that we might need in doing His will. Because of Jesus, we are sustained and guiltless at the day when He comes back for His own. What an unbelievable blessing! What can we say in response? God is faithful! His faithfulness called us into the fellowship of His Son where our lives our flooded with all of these great blessings!

Father,
Thank You for calling me, for saving and sanctifying me, for justifying and glorifying me, for putting me in the fellowship of Your Son, and for blessing me in untold ways because I am in Christ and He is in Me.
In Christ,
Amen
