Reflections

Prov. 27:19

"As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man."

What is in my heart is the measure of my true being. Regardless or what I show to other people, God knows my heart. If I am dwelling in Him, then my heart will be treasuring His riches not the riches that the world has to offer. If I am dwelling in Him, sin will be confessed and forsaken. If I am dwelling in Him, I will be storing His words in my heart so that I can produce abiding fruit. When my heart is wholly united to Him, then I will reflect Him.

Father,

Help me to abide in You so that my heart may be true and wholly united to You. Convict me when my flesh strives to control. Give me the strength to live for You.
